My name is Aljoscha Pörtner. I studied computer science at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences/Germany.
I worked as a research assistant at the IoT-Lab/Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and the Institute for
Intelligent Cooperating Systems/Otto-von-Guericke-University in Magdeburg. During this time, my research was focused on
distributed robotics, multi-agent systems and the interaction of external sensors/actuators (e.g. within a smart home environments),
robots and humans.
Currently, I’m working as a Software and Platform Engineer in logistics. My field of interest covers DevOps/SRE together with distributed systems, security and cloud computing of all sorts.
I believe in the agile manifesto and love to work in autonomous, self-organized and interdisciplinary teams.
In my free time, I am an enthusiastic reader, cineast and committed to the field of digital/internet politics and civil rights.
I am a member of the Chaos Computer Club (CCC) and the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
