My name is Aljoscha Pörtner. I studied computer science at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences/Germany. I worked as a research assistant at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and the Institute for Intelligent Cooperating Systems at Magdeburg University. During this time, my research was focused on distributed robotics, multi-agent systems and the interaction of external sensors/actuators (e.g. within smart home environments), robots and humans.

Currently, I’m working as a Software and Platform Engineer in a logistics company. My field of interest covers DevOps/SRE, distributed systems, cyber security and cloud computing of all sorts. I believe in the agile manifesto and love to work in autonomous, self-organized and interdisciplinary teams.

In my free time, I pet my little projects, ride my bike, cheer for my club and try to read as much as possible (sadly there is never enough time for this).
